Mike Davidson has big plans for his new role.
I am excited to announce Mike Davidson's (Enterprises Applications) promotion to Manager for the PeopleSoft Admin team, effective September 1, 2012. As a new role for this team, supervisory duties will be an added responsibility to his existing duties as a PeopleSoft Administrator. In addition to the support for the PeopleSoft applications, this team is now responsible for the middleware support of PeopleSoft EPM and OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) as well as Kronos (7 apps!). This role will be responsible for managing the work assigned to this group.
Mike is approaching his 7th anniversary with Emory, with 14 years of experience supporting PeopleSoft applications. With his experience and a career goal for management, this role will provide the opportunity to balance his technical skills as a working manager. Mike is held in high regard for his professionalism and desire for knowledge and solutions---not to mention he likes to draw!
Please join me in congratulating Mike on this well-deserved promotion, and supporting him in his new position.

Athan (rear) and Khalid on the job!
In a post Go-Live follow-up call for Office 365, Kim Braxton, Manager of UTS Student Technology Support, thanked Athan Gillette and Khalid Sharif (both of Enterprise Services) for their great work at the Service Desk in supporting the Office 365 roll out.
Khalid also received kudos from Iris Alcantara of RSPH/Behavioral Science and Health. She called to report that Khalid was very helpful. She had been avoiding the voicemail transition, however Khalid walked her right through the process. "It was so nice to have someone know what they're doing and to take the time to carefully explain the process and the next steps," said Iris.
Way to go guys! Keep up the good work!
